Tidebound (DK)

Taking inspirations from such acts as Townes van Zandt, Marissa Nadler, Songs: Ohia and Leonard Cohen the Danish project Tidebound offers songs of lost love and hope, distressful desolation, yearning for freedom and the acceptance of solitude. While deeply rooted in a folk tradition, the dark and psychedelic undercurrents of songwriter Dave Müller’s previous bands Black Wreath and Chasing Eudaimonia can still be felt in the music. Müller has been active in the Danish underground music scene for years, but takes on the role of sole songwriter and vocalist for the first time, making Tidebound a highly personal project. He is joined by Laura Noszczyk on keyboards and vocal.
