Fanø Free Folk Festival receives support from PULS

Fanø Free Folk Festival is proud to have been picked as one of the Nordic live music promoters to receive support form Nordic Culture Fund’s new and ambitious PULS programme!

Fanø Free Folk Festival has always worked to develop the music scene with our specific focus on the meetings of folk music and new experiments and we believe that the support from PULS will help us to present even more ambitious projects and help build a stronger community among Nordic folk- and experimental musicians. We furthermore hope that the support can help us to add a greater focus on the unique folk music heritage which can be found on Fanø.

The support from PULS will be used to launch some ambitious projects at next year’s Fanø Free Folk Festival – taking place 20-22 July. But it will also be used to present various projects with a Nordic focus other parts of the year.

To celebrate we kick off a fantastic year of Nordic music at Global in Copenhagen 2. September, where we have the pleasure of presenting the Swedish trio Tzeitel and the Finnish vocalist Anna Fält – both of whom have previously given fantastic concerts at Fanø Free Folk Festival.
